International Certificate
Professionals UK is accredited by University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) as a provider of quality work experience placements.
We are inspected by CIE every year to ensure that we have high quality services - administrative systems and work placements. In this way CIE ensures that students will be able to benefit from a properly organised and monitored placement.
As a CIE – accredited Placement Organiser we can enter students for the Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience. This certificate is internationally recognised and is valuable when applying for employment back in your country.

The certificate is available at 2 levels
- Standard – This is for placements with a minimum of 105 hours. This could be a placement of 35 hours/ week for 3 weeks. The Standard certificate requires candidates to complete an assessment booklet about their placement.
- Advanced – This is for placements with a minimum of 210 hours. This could be a placement of 35 hours/week for 6 weeks. The Advanced certificate also requires an assessment booklet to be completed, but in greater detail, together with detailed evidence of tasks undertaken during the placement.
It is only possible to receive this certificate by applying through an accredited centre such as Professionals UK.
